As part of ITC, Jarvis Cocker presents a debate-cum-seminar on the application of lyrics in pop music with “Saying The Unsayable.”

Seen looking into Lennon’s usage of the surreal to develop his narrative, Jarvis takes particular interest in the line, “Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come.” and provided a great silhouette against the Powerpoint backdrop of Lennon’s lyrics for this photo.
