Featuring in Liverpool’s 2008 Biennial – ‘Turning the Place Over’ is artist Richard Wilson’s intervention into architecture – literally turning a disused office block inside out.

Find it in Moorfields Liverpool, running in daylight hours and triggered by light sensors -The work consists of an 8 metre diameter disc cut from the façade of an old office block that, using hydraulic motors, is made to rotate constantly above the heads of passers by.

Richard Wilson is one of Britain’s most renowned sculptors and is known to draw heavily for his inspiration from the worlds of engineering and construction.
