Detroit Social Club – South (In The City, 2008)

Somewhere between The Velvet Underground, Tim Friese-Green and Gram Parsons are Detroit Social Club.

Within the very intimate ‘South’ venue, I was looking for something other than ‘front on’ that could display the fact that the audience was almost on top of the band. When David Burn had knelt down briefly during a song, I found this moment.
